Just Back from the LAQ!
4 Attachment(s)
Just finished binding two quilts I sent to Missouri Star Quilt Company for quilting. The first was done from their Double Slice tutorial using the Mo-Mo fabric line. The second was also from their tutorial, but I can't find it and don't remember the name of the pattern or of the fabric line - just know it was a honey bun that I used. Grrr...this memory thing gets my goat sometimes! The quilting pattern for the Double Slice has a pattern similar to a four-leaf clover which mimics the ones found in some of the prints in the top. The second one is a paisley quilting pattern to mimic the paisley design in some of the strip - and I found a great paisley print for the backing. Woo-hoo. I have two more almost ready to send. What fun - they seem to come to life like magic when the layering and quilting are finished. Very, very satisfying, gratifying, and mystifying!

I like both of them a lot. The colors on the first are so cheery. The second looks a little more sophisticated. They did a great job quilting.

Great quilts and quilting! I watched the newest talk by Jenny and she said a 2-3 week turnaround on quilts but longer on holidays. They did a lovely job and what was the turnaround time for you?

They are beautiful!!!!

Like these! Especially like the second one-
|
I also esp. love the second one--both the colors and the pattern. I think it would be a great way to use up scrappy strips, in a color coordinated theme! Congratulations on a job well done.
