What fun :D these are to make and a great way to use up left over fabric from quilts I've made. And a way to remember quilts I've made for others. (unfinished one is now done.)

That's a great block but I'm confused, how do you put them together? What am I not getting? :shock:

It looks like it may be stitched using "English paper piecing" like you use when making a "Grandmother's Flower Garden.

Any tute for hexies will do. There are many on Youtube and I finally settled on Sue Daley's EP Hexie method.
These are hand sewn together just like hexies are. Unless you have strong hands, I don't recommend "pieced" hexies like the single one's center! Should have pressed the seams open - Ouch!
