jtquilts 03-30-2011 11:44 PM

I challenge you to look at the lovelies and get inspired . . . don't want to give up! Think of why you took up quilting to begin with. Your quilts are lovely, too. Think of the inspiration you are to others! Happy Quilting and Hugs!

They are beautiful, and there are tricks to help you keep the rows in line. You will get better with each quilt.

see the uneven rows.................
No! and I am really looking for them
See... not everyone can see what you see because you "examine" the details, but I admire the results
Congratulations

We are our own worst critics. Those are beautiful.

emerald46 03-31-2011 02:39 AM

Beautiful quilts!

Wendys Quilts 03-31-2011 03:05 AM

I LOVE the first one!

4girlsmimi 03-31-2011 03:14 AM

What mistakes? I call those "signatures" that make the quilt yours. They are what make your quilts unique and personal. Little touches of love. My quilts have those and I've been sewing for years. Your quilts are wonderful and you have done a super job on both of them. Thanks for sharing them.

QuiltnNan 03-31-2011 03:38 AM

pretty gardens!

dunster 03-31-2011 03:41 AM

Your quilts are beautiful. Keep it up.

dove 03-31-2011 03:43 AM

i haven't made a perfect quilt to date and i probably never will!...your quilt is lovely and the colors are great!...well done!!!

pvquilter 03-31-2011 05:22 AM

Beautiful quilts. I don't see any mistakes. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Sandi19 03-31-2011 06:42 AM

They are both beautiful. I kept looking and can't see the mistakes at all. When I complain about my imperfections, my mom says no one notices like we do. She also said if I ever make a perfect quilt she'll be upset about it since she's never made one that's perfect. We're all too hard on ourselves.

katsewnsew 03-31-2011 06:49 AM

Great quilts! Keep it up!

Jim's Gem 03-31-2011 10:47 AM

I didn't see any uneven rows. Your quilts are beautiful! I especially like the first one. I've never seen that pattern before. Is it yours? I mean did you make it up!

Vivian Ketron 03-31-2011 04:38 PM

You did a great job. Love them both.

weasier22 03-31-2011 04:43 PM

Pretty ! Pretty! Thanks for sharing!

quiltpd 03-31-2011 04:58 PM

Nicely done. And, no, I don't see the uneven rows. We are always more critical of ourselves than others are. Keep up the good work.

sammygirlqt 03-31-2011 05:00 PM

I don't see mistakes just beautiful quilts. Keep up the lovely work.

kapatt 03-31-2011 05:01 PM

When you have surprise visitors at home and your place is messy, never point it out to your guests that you have a mess. They didn't come to see your house. They came to see YOU! Same with our quilts. People, even us here on the board, don't look at the quilts to find faults. We look to find beauty. We nearly always find it.

Cottontop 03-31-2011 06:01 PM

Guess I was on that "galloping horse". Didn't see nuttin' but beautiful colors...

Unique Creations 03-31-2011 11:47 PM

These are lovely! Don't give up!

Lady-T 04-01-2011 01:43 AM

They're beautiful!

gramqlts 04-06-2011 05:20 AM

Sorry but I don't see a problem. Both quilts are beautiful and you did a fantastic job for a newby. Been doing this for 35+ years and mine still are not perfect. I put a note on the card with each quilt I give as a gift: "Made with love, prayers and a few imperfections." And have never had someone complain cause it was not perfect. When you were learning to ride a bike....was your ride straight lined and perfect or a little wobbly???? I rest my case. Keep up the good work and don't loose heart!

CajunQuilter2 04-06-2011 05:31 AM

Don't think anyone can make a perfect quilt. And since we are so up close and personal when we are putting them together we naturally know where every little something we wish was better is at. But the person you give it to will more than likely not be examining it that close and will never know it is not suppose to be that way. So just enjoy the process and have fun.
The quilts are both beautiful by the way.
