Now that is a lovely collaboration. The yellow rings around the green four patches, remind me of sunflowers. That yellow really warms up the pallet and feel of the quilt. You hand quilting is the perfect compliment. Bravo to both of you!

Beautiful and the quilting, great!
Wow... I really love your color choices. Nice work!
Very pretty LOV the yellow
Now that you have saved the day by quilting this for your friend I am sure she will think she was crazy for almost throwing it away. You did a great job with your handquilting. What type of batting did you use? The picture makes it look like it is a higher loft batting which is so hard to hand quilt and acheive the tiny stitches you have.
I love how you hand quilted it! I am thinking about making one & thought I would do a design in the center but I really like how you echoed the pattern...sure glad I saw this! TFS!
It looks great. I'm glad you rescued it
Wow ~ your handquilting is incredible.
I'm trying to build up some courage to make a small one... yours is sooo pretty.
You did a fabulous job! I love the yellow too!

My heart cracked when I read... she thought she might throw it away... I love it. Want to make one myself but still not ready to tackle it.
That is just lovely. Thank you for sharing it. Why on earth would she throw it away? Yikes!
Very pretty quilt. I love the yellow in the quilt top, and I love the yellow backing. Thank goodness your friend didn't throw it away!

Beautiful! Really like the way the four patches are circled by the yellow.
Great job, but I guess I'm lost, why would she want to through it away?
Beautiful!
I love that. Another "To Do".
Me either! I would never throw anything away. I haven't had the nerve to try a wedding ring yet, but I will one of these days.
Very nice. Love the hand quilting. It just seems right on the old patterns.

My goodness, who would want to throw that away??? What could she have been thinking??? It is beautiful!

It's beautiful. I have not seen a wedding ring quilt lately. I personally don't have the patience to make one, or especially hand quilt one! Lovely!
