Here is a quilt that I just finishe and I used flannel and chenille with the darling flower fairies. It is for my great nephews new baby girl and it will be so soft for a baby. Hope they like it.

I love this one!! So feminine. Is chenille hard to sew?

RedGarnet222 11-02-2009 08:49 AM

Such a sweet quilt! I have some fairies like that except in purple. I really love the thought of flannel & chenille.

Darling, just perfct for a little girl

harrishwhippets 11-02-2009 05:18 PM

Absolutely beautiful. Making one now, just don't like the mess with chenille. Hope I'm not creating a problem for my washer and dryer with the lint. But they sure are soft and pretty when done.
Really, really, cute!!!

That came out so cute! The baby will love it. I made a flannel and chenille quilt for the last grandbaby (19 months now) and he loves that quilt. It washes into something very cozy indeed. The mess was incredible! But worth it.

Thanks, with the flannel back and chenille front, it is the softest baby quilt I've ever made. It was very quick to make too. I just did stitch in the ditch for the quilting.

treeboss 11-03-2009 01:18 PM

That is lovely! I love the flower fairies!
Is it pre-printed fabric or did you copy it from something onto those squares?

JANW 11-03-2009 07:17 PM

pre-printed

debekaiser 07-04-2011 03:37 PM

where did you get the fairy pictures

JANW 07-04-2011 10:07 PM

michael miller has several sets of fairy panels, so just google them and you will find them; I think these are called the flower fairies.
