Just finished Memory Baseball T-shirt Quilt for Grandson
3 Attachment(s)
This wasn't as hard as I feared...it did take some math skills to get a good balance on the spacing of everything...and thanks to helpful suggestions from some of you on this board...I think it came out nicely. I didn't do the quilting - a friend who has a Longarm did that for me. I can't wait until Dec. to give it to him for his birthday.

What a great quilt! How did you make the label? That is awesome.

The label was printed as photo on the photo fabric sheets...cut out a little larger and hand sewed it down. I use my computer to create it.

Love your baseball quilt and LOVE your baseball label. I will have to keep this in mind for my 7yo DGS as he collects his team jerseys. Love the photo inserts, too.
I'm guessing that you designed the layout, right?? |

Hi Elaine,
Just looked at your grandson's baseball T-shirt quilt. My daughter is saving Will's (he's 12) T-shirts and wants me to make one for him. I am so glad I got to see yours because it helps me to decide how I will design it. I like the way you put his pictures on there too. So you must be feeling a lot better to get that nice quilt done. |
