I'm not sure how the colors will turn out in the photo. I love each of these fabrics--all Debbie Mumm stuff.
One small border seems like enough. There was going to be a wider outer of the green, but I don't know I like it simple. Does anyone have an opinion on that? If I leave it as is I'll bind it in green. Boy the corners where several triangles meet sure is thick! :? |

I love that quilt layout, don't you? It is my go-to when I'm stuck for an idea for baby quilts. I just finished one for my husband's secretary's grandson (due next month). Getting ready to mail it today. Here's a picture.
The light blue fabric is cowboys. |
Nice work!!
In my opinion, it needs a outer border. Maybe not the green but the tan/neutral color. |
Those are really cute! Nice fabrics you both used. I'm in search of the pattern...

Oh bj--I LOVE your colors!! You and Tiffany both did the squares around the middle square differently--I like yours better. :D
|
Karla and bj, those are wonderful quilts. Love the colors used in both. Nice work ladies!

Karla, I love yours with the border. Depending on how big you want it to be, I'm not sure it needs another border. I think it looks really good as is.

Great quilts Karla & bj. I'm going to have to find that pattern..it really looks totally different at a quick glance depending on the layout.
I'd stick with the border as is Karla..It doesn't need another. Just my opinion  |
I love these quilts. The pattern is so unusual.

Here's the link to the pattern. Since I've made it several times now, I keep it saved in my favorites :)
