I found an old wallet at Goodwill that I liked....but it wasn't in a good condition...bought it for a $1.00 and brought it home to experiement. Here's my result. It has a zippered pocket for coins, a slot for dollar bills, credit card area, and a slot for coupons/receipts. Plus I made an extra card holder for all those "savings cards" that you get at the stores nowadays. What do ya think????

10" x 6"...2 pieces of fabric 10" x 6"... 1 piece of Heavyweight interfacing - iron onto one piece of fabric Sew both pieces of fabric together, turn right side out, press, and sew 1/4" from edge (top stitch) Sew a 2 1/4" piece of velcro to one side on the end (bottom - not flap end) (about 1/4" from edge) fold up bottom piece 2 3/4" up. Press, sew 1/4" from both side edges. Fold down flap and press. VOILA! |

You did a great job and I like the fabric you chose. It's interesting to see what you all sew/create aside from quilts. Thanks for posting it.

It's a work in progress!!! I'll post as soon as I have them done.
Today I had to clean out my stained glass shop...which involved moving 1000 pattern books for painting and stained glass. My friend is letting me use his old quilting machine....and I will pay him on a payment plan if I decide to keep it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And believe me, it took ALL day to clean out that shop! |
