This is the condition of my sewing room as I type. Looks like I need to get back in there and get to work!

Mine has looked like that many times. Right now it is very neat!

Mine sometimes looks like that too. Right now it's "in between" neat & orderly and a total mess. Are you going to add pics "after"? :lol:

Happens to me every time I clean. I spend a day or two cleaning and once I get it done and within two days the quilting imps have gone in and destroyed it again. It must happen while I sleep. . . . . . . .

If I ever get it all back together again, I will add "afters". Right now, I'm thinking, "what in the world was I thinking when I started this project?" lol

Mine looks like that a lot of the time. . . just right now it is in some type of order for some reason. DH was in here yesterday and commented on it..said it looked like I was expecting company. Remember "Creative Clutter is better then idle neatness"

Mine is an absolute mess right now!! My daughter came and took the full sized bed out of the room that I have my long arm in (YAY!) but to clear all my stuff off the bed I just picked it up and dumped it in the sewing room!

"Oh" My..... looks like mine too! I think it is because I have such a small space and I need to re- organize TODAY!

Mine is a corner of the dining room and it looks like that quite often.

Thank you so much for 'keeping it real'. I feel better now. I've been gone from home for 6 weeks and my whole house looks like this right now. And as you can see, I'd rather be catching up on the board than doing something about it. Mañana.

since I got sick my sewing room looks the same... but still love quilting no matter what the room looks like

You just gotta start a little at a time, because to think of it as a whole project is too overwhelming.

Mine is worst! Hubby wanted to condense my sewing room last week end all together into one room. It is still in three rooms looking like this!
But he went to Lowe's yesterday and bought storage units that fill the sewing closet with organization. It is a matter on filling the shelving and figuring out how the rest goes in. Sigh ... this is going to take a while. It is almost embarassing.

My new problem with this is that I can't decide how to put everything in the cabinets. I've pretty much got the closet figured out. Whew! I wasn't ready for this project and what a project it's become!

Same for me. I used to have it so clean, then I started reorganizing it and have made an absolute mess of it!!

Hi I recruited a help to organize my sewing room. It looked pretty good, for awhile, lol. I had my grandsons came over today and right now, everything is put away, and I cannot find anything. lol My room always looks like that if I don't get help. I end up cutting something I don't mean to because of the piles on the cutting table. Ew, my best tape measure went into the trash yesterday.

I need even more shelves than the ones that doubled my shelf space! Only problem is, no spot to put the shelves...hmmm...

I think your sewing room looks just fine...I know mine is about the same. But I'm waiting for the good cleaning fairy to show up. Right know she's about 40 years late, but I know she's coming soon. Just about when I get it half cleaned up I start on a project and then I never get back to finishing!! But the cleaning fairy is on her way!!

I just cleaned mine up yesterday so it doesn't look too bad! :D

I have a magnet that says "Has anyone seen the sewing table lately?" That should tell you something about mine.
