No. I made a cardboard template for the feather. The pattern is called goosewing and it is a very traditional pattern that was often used for North Country Quilts in UK.

Thank you! The quilt is already finished (please see message #123 in this thread) and the size is 74"x74".

Andrea, your finished quilt is just beautiful, as usual!

I'm attaching pics of my humble little baby quilt done in 2003 for my now nine year old granddaughter. It was just a small baby quilt that had been washed and loved to death. Here it is on the living room floor being blocked. It was really enjoyable to work on. I'm afraid if I every started a large one that I'd never do anything but quilt. Certainly not the caliber of your work, but just thought I'd share.
