Beautiful quilts and flower garden. I've been eyeing your blue flowers. Do you know the name of them?

Thanks! The flowers are either Bachelor Buttons or Cornflowers. The two are pretty much the same, except one is small flowers, the other large. This is the large one, and I can never remember which name goes with which size! |
Absolutely gorgeous! Love the quilt and your garden!
|

To quote my dear Mother (who used to describe me this way) --- "Tiny but mighty"... mighty awesome, that is! I love it! No wonder you want to keep making these! You're a natural!

What a marvellous job on your first mini!! I know from painfull experience that accurate nine patches that size are about the hardest thing to sew! You really wanted to know it!?
A good start for me back at the board also. kind regards Granny_59 |

A good start for me back at the board also. kind regards Granny_59 Great to "see" you back ... and thanks for the feedback for one of the "Great" Mini Ladies!. BTW ... the mini is straight and square .... it looks a little wonky, because of the lumps and bumps because I set it on top of the flowers!! (**note to self** ... don't do that again!) :) And ... of course, we look forward to hearing/seeing what you created while away! :D |
Oh, how precious! Love the pattern...and the colors!!! :)
|
I just love your mini quilt. I have a question? How do you sew something so small together?
|
It's beautiful! But where do you get flowers this time of year? We still have 30 inches of snow on everything ? 😢

Here's another I did ... http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...e-t212298.html Honestly, it really is not that hard, plus I do not do them as tiny as some. If you want to see "real" minis .... stalk OKSGlad and Granny_59 ... and see what they have done!! Their work is incredible!!!!!!!!!! |
