I dabble a bit in photography, awhile back I entered this picture in a contest and forgot all about it. Today I was notified that I won a digital camera... wooohoo!! :)

Congrats! Even better because you'd forgotten about it, so it was totally unexpected! I love the way the hummingbird's head is absolutely still, but his wings are going a mile a minute.

Awesome pictures!! I love flowers for subjects--so much easier than horses. :D Congrats on your win! One of my pictures won a Feb spot on a calendar, but I had to pay $15 to get the calendar. Sheeesh. :?

I appreciate how tricky it was to get that hummingbird. After we put up a feeder, I crouched below a flowering shrub for 20 minutes waiting for one to show up. I caught a few pictures, but the cat was winding around me and it wasn't the best. :D :lol:
