Year before last I made the wall hanging quilt called "Over by the Pond" and had it longarmed with a dragonfly design. I made it for my sister, who is very fond of frogs, for her birthday. She loved it and has it hanging in her sewing room.

Sis has been teaching her 8-year-old granddaughter to sew, and Maddy has decided she wants to learn to make quilts. This photo is her progress so far. Sis thinks Maddy wants to learn how to make quilts like the Pond quilt, but it may take some time for her work up to something like that. She is starting out right though! :-D
