Yes my quilting angle is on this board. We have known each other for a long time now. We are always doing something neat for each other. Special friends are great to have, I don't think you can have to many friends.

Love it. My grandma had that pattern of china when i was a child. It was only used for Sunday dinners and for special occasions. Thanks for showing us, brought back lots of wonderful memeories.

Sewfine 07-29-2011 07:10 AM

Beautiful pincushion. I have those same teacups.

Riverton Quilter 07-29-2011 07:13 AM

What a fun gift. I love tea cups (never drink out of one). I chose my china pattern when I got married 32 years ago based on the shape of the tea cup.

Rann 07-29-2011 07:15 AM

Very pretty, but I'd be afraid to use it as I would probably break it, as I'm a klutz.

I have that tea cup! My Grandmother gave it to me last year.

I'm draping earrings over the side and keep a couple rings in the cup itself, but I like your use of it too.

LAB55 07-29-2011 02:48 PM

I just found a cute little tea cup at the salvation army this morning, and have been planning to make my 48 yr. old daughter a pin coushion, now I know how I will make it. Thanks!

collady 07-29-2011 04:57 PM

Thanks! I have a love teacup and saucer that had a candle that has since been burned completely. I think I will make a pincushion from it! Thanks for showing it!
