Will do. Both hubby and I are fighting a cold and I'm just not doing too much right now. But I will take a photo of it later and post.

I do have to admit that I purchased the pieces already cut from ebay. I tried to sew them and had issues, so I purchased a 1/4 seam allowance foot. Made ALL THE DIFFERENCE in the world!

Be on the lookout for the photo sometime after lunch.

Glad to help with this addiction that none of us want a cure for!

Isn't it amazing how we can all have the same fabric and see a few different things that we do with it and then one just speaks to us?

I want to buy the kaleidoscope tutorial from this board when I go to make my next one from scratch. I just have to wait til I have money. I'm not sure just how to lay the fabric out to cut.

The kit I bought was near to $30 dollars and because I HAD to have it, I purchased it. But that's alot of money for the 70ish SMALL pieces of fabric that came in the "kit".

Here you go. 2 shots -- one showing the manufacturer.... Hope this helps. I purchased the fabric 2+ years ago as I have a weakness for lilacs and I've stockpiled some so I can do a full size quilt for that room.

I think that we are our own worst critics as WE know where we made "errors" and therefore think less of our accomplshments.

I consider myself a "dumb" quilter. I'm too dumb to realize that I've bitten off more than I can handle. On the scuba quilt I made, I just knew in my head (and that can be a pretty noisy place at times with all the voices talking over each other!!!! ) how I wanted it to look. It was just a matter of "seeing" it clearly to make it happen. See, I also can't "read" patterns. I mean I can read, am literate, but when it comes to patterns, well, it might just have well been written in swaheli (or however you spell it!). I'm a "see-er". If I can see it, I can usually figure it out. My best friend is a seamstress and she know if she has to explain something to me, she had better be visual!!

jackied 05-05-2011 01:29 PM

It sure made up some beautiful blocks!

Cottontop 05-05-2011 01:34 PM
