I do have to admit that I purchased the pieces already cut from ebay. I tried to sew them and had issues, so I purchased a 1/4 seam allowance foot. Made ALL THE DIFFERENCE in the world! Be on the lookout for the photo sometime after lunch. Kat |
Very pretty.

Isn't it amazing how we can all have the same fabric and see a few different things that we do with it and then one just speaks to us? I want to buy the kaleidoscope tutorial from this board when I go to make my next one from scratch. I just have to wait til I have money. I'm not sure just how to lay the fabric out to cut. The kit I bought was near to $30 dollars and because I HAD to have it, I purchased it. But that's alot of money for the 70ish SMALL pieces of fabric that came in the "kit". Kat |
beautiful. I'm beginning to see these could/are addicting!
|
I really like your quilt. I'm fascinated by the kaleidoscope patterns and would like to try one, too. You have done a beautiful job!!
|
Your fit ended well:). I can smell the lilacs - glorious!
|
Beautiful!

Here you go. 2 shots -- one showing the manufacturer.... Hope this helps. I purchased the fabric 2+ years ago as I have a weakness for lilacs and I've stockpiled some so I can do a full size quilt for that room.

SORRY! Thought I posted them to your reply. I think that they're on page 4.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Kat |
My favorite 2 colors, and beautiful quilt to boot.

Check out page 4. I posted the original fabric that I purchased after I bought the kit and had to have more!

I consider myself a "dumb" quilter. I'm too dumb to realize that I've bitten off more than I can handle. On the scuba quilt I made, I just knew in my head (and that can be a pretty noisy place at times with all the voices talking over each other!!!! ) how I wanted it to look. It was just a matter of "seeing" it clearly to make it happen. See, I also can't "read" patterns. I mean I can read, am literate, but when it comes to patterns, well, it might just have well been written in swaheli (or however you spell it!). I'm a "see-er". If I can see it, I can usually figure it out. My best friend is a seamstress and she know if she has to explain something to me, she had better be visual!! |
It sure made up some beautiful blocks!
|
I like, I like!
|
Beautiful work.
