Love it

I have come back again to look at this pattern, even saved a photo. Do you have the pattern? If not, I can practice with my EQ7 and draft it myself. But it would be so much easier and quicker to get the pattern. Please, pretty please!!!!

Charisma, I'm a soul mate of your friend...Kansas Troubles is my favorite fabric in the whole wide world! I love her quilt, and your quilting, and would like to have the pattern. Are you willing to share?

Jingle 10-04-2011 08:35 AM

Beautiful quilt and quilting, I love the colors of it. You both did a great job.

baskets4daze 10-04-2011 08:40 AM

So you can actually find fabric that is called Kansas Troubles? I love this quilt.

dragonfly south 10-04-2011 10:13 AM

I LOVE stars and just started machine quilting with a mid-size machine. All I can say is ... WOW!

dragonfly south 10-04-2011 10:15 AM

Oops, pushed send before I asked ...
is there a pattern and do you Share? Looks like one that can be adapted to many scraps...

owlvamp 10-04-2011 10:46 AM

Beautiful!!

dilyn 10-04-2011 12:03 PM

I have never seen you over-work a quilt! I love intricate quilting, though. I have started using plainer fabrics so that I can highlight the quilting. Keep up the good work!

grannypat7925 10-04-2011 01:05 PM

Lovely quilt and the quilting is perfect for it!

pgthom 10-04-2011 02:29 PM

This quilt makes Donna seem like my kind of gal! Just the right amount of quilting for my taste! Nice work for both of you.

charismah 10-04-2011 02:53 PM

Thanks Ladies!

I appreciate all the nice comments!

I can purchase the patterns at my local quilt shop.
It's made by the shop owner..they sale for $9.00 a pattern. If you want I can get them and I think ship them for 1.50

Just PM me! Thanks!
Charisma

Kansas Troubles is a Moda designer....but the great thing about Kansas troubles lines of fabrics is that they all coordinate. So if you bought fabric from one of their lines 5 years ago...they will coordinate with a line that came out 5 months ago. They use all the same colors....and their fabric is beautiful!

Hi D,
yes...I know ...it is all so subjective...isn't it?

I love lots of different types of quilts and quilting...Thanks so much!

Beautiful quilting and the quilt is very nice too.

Thank you!

As always, you've done a beautiful job.

kflan 10-04-2011 03:57 PM

,I must admit, less is more when it comes to quilting as far as I am concerned. Your quilting looks perfect on this quilt. I think heavy quilting changes the drape and softness of a quilt.

Lisa Marie 10-04-2011 04:33 PM

Beautiful

RuthFru 10-04-2011 05:16 PM

I think you did a good job keeping it simple but it looks beautiful. The pattern is beautiful too, I can see why she likes to make it. I am sure she will like it.

cindy4857 10-04-2011 05:37 PM

she couldn't help but love it. You did a exceptional job highlighting the beauty of the fabric and the design. Great Job both of you!

Jammin' Jane 10-04-2011 05:39 PM

Pretty, pretty...both the quilt and the quilting!
Hope she loves it!

Grandma Peg 10-04-2011 06:12 PM

Great job on a beautiful quilt. Once again, you make a good team. Keep up the good work. And how could anyone not love you, Charisma? :)

luckylindy333 10-04-2011 07:08 PM

Great teamwork!

RuthEm 10-04-2011 07:13 PM

Beautiful work from both of you. Simple quilting is best for me to. Thanks for sharing

stitchinbee 10-04-2011 07:15 PM

You do such nice work. :D

ilovetosew 10-04-2011 07:18 PM

Very nice! Many of my customers don't like heavy quilting either.

janquilts'ncrochets 10-04-2011 08:23 PM

So pretty! Love the stars and the quilting suits it too.

lollygagging 10-04-2011 08:25 PM

You quilted it just enough to make the stars pop. Your talent for picking the exact amount and type of quilting for each precious creation left in your care is uncanny! Thanks for sharing with us once again.
