The letters on the breast cancer hanging are embroidered. The big letters on the Autumn Leaves pattern are very easy to applique onto the leaves, because of the size. It is absolutely an easy to make pattern. Any beginner who can applique by hand or machine, will have no trouble making it. I used the raw edge applique method.

The Avatar is showing a picture of me inside a cheetah enclosure with two cheetahs. I did that while on vacation in South Africa in April and May.

Oh Sandy, you will do very well. The Autumn pattern is so easy for a beginner to do. I only applique my things either by hand with a buttonhole stitch or on the machine with the same stitch. I like to do the hand work the best. I don't ever do needle turn. It requires more patience than I have for it.

Love your work! Applique is my favorite thing to do :) I prefer hand applique but I have done it by machine.
