This is the first custom type quilt I ever did. Katie May was born on 5 Feb and her dad is my 1SG. Everyone got a kick out of seeing a quilt made in Afghanistan. Its simple and made of my favorite Moda lie called Blush. Of course I labeled it. I felt so professional.

To have them personalized is so wonderful. It is a special quilt. I love the colors

Wow you made that overseas?? Amazing!! Did you bring your sewing machine with you? That is so cool and of course a wonderful quilt that will be well loved I am sure!

My sewing machine was here two weeks before I was. I end most of my nights sewing up a storm! lol.

My sewing machine was here two weeks before I was. I end most of my nights sewing up a storm! lol.

Wow that is so cool!! I never even thought of someone doing that. Of course my hubby was in the military (Marine Corps), so most of the service members I know are men who wouldn't be caught dead sewing. LOL I tip my hat to you for keeping your passion alive as you are stationed in that area of the world.
