I started with the Moda pattern and then fit it to my needs. This is a REALLY easy project. I was able to finish it from beginning to end in one day. I have two small children, I never finished anything in one day. Not even a sandwich!
I might make a few more for my Kindle/Nook/iPad friends. |
Wow, I love it! And the fabric.
And maybe next time I won't zoom in so closely with the camera. OH MY! You can see each problem. LOL!

If I had a Kindle I would demand you send it to me hahaha

Cute. Did you follow a pattern?
I started with this pattern:
http://www.modabakeshop.com/2009/05/bookkeeper.html The pattern is for the older generation Kindle and that Kindle is a bit bigger than the newer one. So, I shrank the pattern size. And I was a bit confused at the exact steps that the pattern took to construct the keeper. I am horrible at patterns with no pictures. LOL! I decided to just put it together how I wanted to. |
Thank you. I have the older Kindle and my mom has the newer one. I am excited about making covers for them.
Nice! BTW I used the 'flower power' fabric for the bright in my black/white/bright swap blocks.
