A friend asked me to make this Kit quilt for her, we changed the pattern a little and made it a very large King, The Backing is brown batik, and it has warm and natural batting. I have a design that I call a meandering feather, she calls it a Tear Drop, so we used that all over it turned out great.. She has recieved it and loves it. I had it boxed and ready to go in the mail when I realized I did not take a full picture of it.. so these pic's are when it was done and coming off the machine....

Thanks for looking... all done free motion

Could you please direct me to the kit/pattern used? It is great for these fabrics, but I think it would be great with lots of other types of prints too. Thanks!

I can not remember the name of the pattern, the kit came with 42 10" sq's and they are cut 2 1/2" strips. the black is 3 1/2 " blocks draw diag line and sew on that, but there is no cutting leave everything intact and iron everything over, it's so the black stands out. we added a lot more animal prints and some solids that had a like a grassy look to it, i used some basket fabrics and indian prints as well. the yellow has small paw prints , it was a lot of fun to put it all together, plus theres batiks, fern leaves.. a lot of different things to make it king size. I hope this helps you.
Thanks Lynn
