you're getting sleeepy, sleeepy, .........

that's because you work too hard.

fabric_fancy 08-28-2010 04:29 PM

klue's website with the pattern is not a yahoo group.

the web address for the pattern and klue's website is on the quilt label in the photo of this thread on the first page.

for some reason a link to her website can not be posted on this forum.

Linda1 08-28-2010 06:06 PM

That is beautiful but I would never get one like that finished because it would make me so dizzy.

Sorry to but into your thread but here is my Optical Illusion quilt. I have'nt quilted it yet and I used Klue's pattern too. Your blue quilt is awesome! You can see how different it looks using a figured fabric which I did. I thought it was fun and it stretched my ability out of my comfort zone which is a good thing. Great fun!!

I doubt it makes you dizzy up close! I made a Karen Combs pattern awhile ago. The camera really gives the effect. In person, until you get about 2 feet away, you don't see the illusion. Great job!

That's close, but it is not the same as Klue's pattern directions. I think Klue's pattern is just strip piecing.

JoyjoyMarie 08-29-2010 04:36 AM

Love it!

You are not butting in - so great to see how others have turned out - I like yours to. How are you going to quilt it?

I thought I'd SITD on the stripping part and just some stippling in the tris. perhaps. By the time I do it that could change! LOL!!

It's not Greek. I know some Greek but I can't read this. I think it is Russian. (have to ask my SIL to know for sure, she is studying Russian) But even without understanding Russian you can make this one to.

butterflywing 09-11-2010 07:57 PM

has anyone found out anything about this?

Marquilt 09-11-2010 08:19 PM

That's really neat, quilter girl! I love square/rectangular paterns that end up looking like curves.
