Labor of Love
 

My BFF and I have been friends since 1st grade and we are 65 this year. She has a thing for stuffed bears and her house if full of them. In the last 6 months, I have developed severe arthritis in my hands/wrists and a few other joints. I saw this panel and I just had to make the quilt for her. Since I can no longer hand quilt, I had to learn to FMQ.... thank goodness she would never critique it too seriously because she loves me. BTW, she loves it.... ;-)

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I had some difficulty finding border colors to match the panel. Then, the 4 borders were harder to make than the prairie points. She also bakes cookies for everyone.... and finding the backing fabric with Paddington cooking was sheer luck and God holding my hand.... Merry Christmas everyone!!

Love all the bright colors. And I thought my BFF and I were friends for a long time ... since college freshmen. We are 69 this month. It is heart warming to hear a friend say, "I remember that".
