What a great way to use stipes. You have made a small quilt into a big masterpiece. Way to go!

What a beautiful quilt - could you tell me what the pattern is?
Hi Karen,
There isn't a pattern for this quilt. Here's info on the components of it:
Blocks are called Night and Day 2 and can be found on Quilters' Cache using non-directional fabrics. I added a level of challenge by using different border fabrics. 5 fabrics are used for the 9 blocks.
The setting triangle idea using border prints is similar to a quilt called Zenith by Gail Kessler which at one time was on Andover Fabrics website as a free download. That was the idea for my wide mitered borders , but I had to figure out my own measurements and yardage.

Exquisite, love the design and the illusion of a square inside an on point square. Fabric looks Baroque, then Brocade.

Wow, that is a great reason to stop dieting. Absolutely regal, fit for a king and queen!
GMTA! That's just what I thought... "That looks like it's made for a king" (maybe because today is Prince William's 30th BD). It's beautiful... truly, truly BEAUTIFUL! I love, love, love that fabric & it would've shocked me if you could've resisted it... I wouldn't be able to. Wow! This is just spectacular! See? Good things come to those who wait! Congrats on a fabulous job!
