These are the blocks on the design wall. I have enough for two more rows across.

The next is borders.......I like two a thin one then bigger. The room I'm planning this for is a bright lime green.......any ideas

Yes Ruth, a thin true green and then a bright orange please.

Beautiful Ruth! I like a bright orange or red thin border to enclose the design, then the lime green wide border with another color binding.

But...Steve's idea will look great too...really what ever you choose will be wonderful. What a fun quilt!

Actually I changed my mind, the orange should be the smaller, and green would halt it in its tracks making the orange pointless, and so should go to the outside. Maybe a darker green variation of the wall colors?

I've been looking at this thinking exactly which:

Very Pretty Ruth! It will be pretty no matter what. I'd vote for a thin lime green with a dark pink or purple on the outside border. :D

Beautiful! I really like all of the fabrics you have chosen and wow, all of those curved pieces! Can't wait to see what you choose for the borders!

Looks beautiful Ruth! I would go with an orange print on the outer border, and for the inner border, take a solid colour out of the outer border print fabric. You already have some oranges in the quilt, so i think orange would be nice, green might work nice too, but might be too much green if the room is already green.

I love those blocks!!!

Where would I find a pattern for them?

It's a beautiful quilt top!!!

I found mine in an old magazine, but also came across this pattern by another name.

The original pattern was all pieced, at the time of the American revolution, hence its name. The mag was an issue of country quilts. Many old patterns had remake to make them easier.

my blocks which is 4 pieces of peel are 10 in
