BTW I must tell everyone that has complimented me on the colour choices. I had absolutely no plan I just made the blocks with the material as I picked it out of fabrics that has been sent to me(which were gorgeous). then when they were made I kinda put the golds with the golds and black with the black and green together and it just worked. I didn´t think the last round was going to be successful because I had run out of the fabrics that I had mostly and some new ones went into it, so this is a quilt you can make like that and get away with it.

I shouldn´t have told you that LOL and made that I was really clever :twisted:

Well ...........its Black background with a grey flower and the flower is edged with gold and there is a little white flower like Jasmine there as well. Really pretty, sounds weird when I describe it though, wanna see a pic I suppose now. (Grin)

Here is the backing material, I just love this fabric

After getting the fabric out to photograph it I though I may as well get the quilt out to put the backing fabric on it.

GUESS what.....I don´t have enough. However I have some more fabric coming to me and I have just looked and it has a fabric in there that I can make the centre piece and then the black surrounding it, WHEW breathing a sigh of relief.

I agree with you I love this fabric. Don't think I could put it on the back of a quilt, to pretty to never be seen.

I agree!! What a wonderful quilt you have made. I can't even begin to imagine ever having the skills to accomplish something so beautiful.

Got some fabric that might lend itself to some 1 block wonders, something a little easier for the back, thinking put them in the middle and then the black fabric around them.

If you can take a class on Paper Piecing, you will realise that its not half as hard as it looks. The pattern was superb and went together like a dream so I have high praise for Judy Neimeyer designs.

Oh yes!!! Of course you know I love that backing fabric!! I'm so glad you showed a pic...your description...well..my brain wasn't going to that beautiful pattern that you have. Its good that you have a plan due to the "oops"...you know, thats just a little design challenge which you solved quickly!

Are you planning to do the OBW and surround them with the black floral for the back or were you talking about the OBW for something else?

Wasn´t really complicated, I admit it looks that way, however the pattern went together like a dream. If you can get to a class for Paper Piecing you are half way there, its not difficult just different.
