This was such a great idea, but it seems to have fizzled. Maybe this will reignite it. Here she is, Chicken McLittle!! She has tons of fabric and patterns ready to go, but she's afraid to start any of them for fear she won't be able to finish. So instead, she makes wee things: pot holders, candle mats, mug rugs, avatar blocks, and now Christmas stockings. Anything to practice her piecing and quilting skills on before she cuts into her $$ stuff.

she's adorable. i still need to make an avatar for myself as well. i love her and what a cute story to go with her.:) practicing on small things is almost harder. i love the idea of a homemade avatar. i did not know this was tradition. thanks for sharing.
