I feel like I'm working in a purse factory. BUT this time I expanded my horizons and made a wallet to go with it....I got the pattern out of the June 2010 Quilter World. It was my first foray into the world of zippers.....that was interesting, but in the end I like how it turned out. Now..........do I send the wallet as part of the gift with the purse, or keep it for me????

I'd keep it since it was your first. I have been thinking of trying to make one....also want to make checkbook holder. Great job and I love the colors!!!!

Thanks for all your great comments :) I think I could probably make one without a pattern by now! And I'm so over purple...didn't like it at first, now it's really annoying.....

But I'm definitely trying that wallet again.....

Oh BK, I love the colors and I would definitely keep it. After all if you're giving a purse, let that individual furnish their own wallet. I love it. If you're sick of purple (my favorite color by the way) you can always send it to me. lol
I am gathering patterns and fabric, to make myself an all lilac and purple quilt. I just haven't found the pattern that really hits me yet. If anyone out there has some great patterns that would look good in all purples, let me know. Thanks. Gerbie
