Loved the food processor cover. Very country.

Thats pretty clever making the covers to hide the mixer. And I love the gift card sleeves. What are the measurements to those if you don't mind saying?

Could you tell us how you made the mixer cover? I would love to hide mine.

Did you want the gift card measurements?

I acutally just measured the height and width and length of the machine and cut a rectangle a few inches longer (it goes over the machine from side to side. Then had to make a front and back piece and used a plate to round off the top edge to sew to the rectangle. I decided to add a pocket as an after thought. The first one I just used cheap muslin to try it, and it was really big-so I cut it down a couple inches when I cut the extra fabric. I then sandwiched the individual pieces and quilted them, then sewed the pieces together-I was worried the quilting would shrink them too much, but they actually fit perfect! I had to cut a couple of inches off the bottom before I sewed the binding. I never really got a measurement after cutting the fabric-just estimated and kept trying it on my mixer. It started around 2" larger than the measurements I took. I guess different machines very in sizes, so it is best to measure your machine. It would have been easier if I had a pattern, but just looked at a cover on the internet and copied it as best I could. I now have a few people who want me to make them one! Mine is next!! LOL
