the first one is purple and called "on the slant",very easy to do
the secone one is called "fire escape" also another easy one to do

I love 'on the slant'. It does look easy, but I've found that whenever I said something was easy it is only easy after I've learned how to do it!

it is very easy
its just 1.5 inch strips and 4 inch strips
there is a pattern available,check in your local quilt shop

thanks and yes he is getting big,has had a recurring ear infection though,so he gets his ears clenaed every nite and then ear drops
