Here's my finished project from Sunday and Monday (and last week :D )
It's a baby quilt (of course) for my best friend's granddaughter. She has 3 grandsons and this is the first girl. The background is white with little pink and green striped hearts. The star fabrics have little polkadots on them.

What a great baby quilt. I love the colors. Any little girl would be happy to snuggle in this. I bet the Mom just loves it too.

Belinda 03-05-2008 05:21 PM

Just perfectly beautifully girly!!

Thanks again. Y'all are always so nice to everyone. I'm always a little hesitant to post pics, but I thought this one turned out kindof cute.

Not sure Emma stands a chance to be a girly girl. The boys are all wild men! They run amock wherever they go! Pretty sure she'll have to be pretty scrappy just to hold her own!

Any little girl would be happy to have such a pretty quilt.

Don't worry even with brothers she'll hold her own and still can be a girly girl.

My grandaughter has 4 brothers she's in the middle. The boys will have a healthy respect for pms when they grow up she takes no guff from them and puts them in there place. Then the next minute she is the perfect little princess

Trust me. They haven't always. I finally figured out I was making them a little bigger, but not realizing it. Now I make them the way I learned how and then trim them to the right size and it was like a miracle. Finally. POINTS!! Now I'm ready for new challenges, now that I kindof have the hang of halfsquare triangles. :) I'm doing a BOM at a quilt shop here that has flying geese this month, so guess I'll give those a whirl!

I see lots of hugs and kisses in this quilt! Beautiful job :):)
