I just finished sewing the binding on my Fire Escape quilt. It is Jenny Byer fabrics I purchased last fall while visiting my sister. (also a quilter!)

It was done by my laq friend. She used a variegated thread that matched the fabric and did loops and swirls. She does such a wonderful job.

This is the one I made in Batiks. The colors are a lot richer than the picture shows. It is not quilted yet. I will probably use variegated thread and a panto

Lovely! I like the batiks. I had such a time doing mine. I kept getting the joining squares rotated! It was wild. I love it now that it is finished.

I had the same probelm. It was fun. But I love the pattern. I won't give this one away. Right now I am machine quilting a king size black and white for my nephew's wedding. It is huge. 120x120, but I love it. Will post ictures when quilted. Hope he and his new bride will like it.
