We have a king sized bed and I hate paying the price for the pillowcases. We just bought another set of pillows and of course I only have 2 sets of sheets/pillowcases and needed more. I went shopping in my stash and came up with these. I have had the paisley fabric for years just because I love it, but no idea in mind for it until this past weekend.

Pillow cases are so easy and fast to make. I have made several of them for our bed as well. It's nice to change them out more often when you have a cold.

That decorative stitching really does it! It's great you had that in your stash!

I do the same as you. I do not pay for pillowcases. They are very expensive. What I do is I buy an extra sheet and do a lot of extra pillow cases. Yours look lovely with the fancy stitching.

The stitches from your machine are such a wonderful touch

If you have a set of sheets that the full sheet is worn out...get rid of that and make extra pillowcases out of the odd flat sheet.

I really like your pillow cases with decorative trim.
My husband gave me the idea of buying an extra sheet to make pillow cases to match several years ago. |
Love those-your stitching gives it that added touch. nice Job.

Those look great! I love the decorative stitching. I made alot of pillowcases for Christmas gifts. Have a super easy pattern and you have different fabric for the outside edge. I loved making them!
