Just some things I finished. A table topper for my sister who rescues feral cats. I traced a pot top to make the circles and quilted using my walking foot. I have tons of problems trying to FMQ so I am happy with this style. The fabric is "Cat Lady" for Cotton and Steel. I bought it from Connecting Threads.

A quilt using fabric from Connecting Threads. The block is called Arkansas Traveler or Spools. I didn't plan on using flannel on the back, but found the print at JoAnn's and thought it matched perfectly.

You're right. The flannel backing does match perfectly and finishes the quilt just right. The sampler looks like it will be a good one, too. I like the flower block a lot..and the hearts, too. What fun!

Love your quilts. The cat fabric is perfect. Especially, I like your spools quilt. I really enjoyed seeing your Splendid Sampler blocks. Your "Snug as a Bug" block is so pretty. I love the colors in the quilt of that block. I am so glad you showed us those blocks.

I used crayons to color the little quilt. First time I tried it.

great projects... I like your idea of using your walking foot on your table topper. I forget that walking feet make great tools for quilting in lieu of FMQ.

I especially like your sampler blocks as they are quite unusual for a sampler. I will be anxious to see the rest of them and the finished project.
