I keep forgetting to check the quiltingboard now that we no longer get emails.........grrrr!
Normally I work on one project at a time but for many reasons I got involved in a number of projects at once and found out that I like switching tasks. The Make Time quilt, started in October 2025, was a pattern from 3 UK designers that I fell in love with because it covered almost all things that matter to me: a diary of my life so to speak. It involved FPP of which I had not done before. The second was a free quilt-a-long from MSQC to celebrate our countries 250th anniversary. Both came to fruition at the same time, along with an embroidery project that is now at the quilters, to be shown at a future date.

I changed out some of the blocks in the Make Time to reflect more of ME, which was the whole reason for the quilt. I made a similar quilt for my MIL for her 90th birthday, and it has become the family favorite. I hope mine will be held in the same regard in the future.

I am currently working on the border for the Fireworks Finale, which is a series of Dresdan fans, which resemble the buntings used on porch railings during the 4th of July.
