I am humbled by all your uplifting comments....thank you!
All the fabrics in the Green Friends quilt came from Wal-Mart. Found them at our store in June, so I'm guessing there's still some out there. Adding a closeup of one of the plain squares in the Stars of Hope quilt where the word "hope" was incorporated into the FMQ. Many thanks again....your comments make the challenging moments all worthwhile! Have a wonderful quilty day! Karen hope in FMQ |

Stars of Hope is adapted from Bonnie Hunter's Random Ohio Stars and will be used as a raffle quilt for our Relay For Life 2011. Each star represents a color of cancer awareness. Also my first attempts at meandering and prairie points. Thanks for looking! Karen walmart here would carry stuff like that...the green quilt is soooooo perfect for my DGS. |
