Gosh, your quilts are beautiful. Love the quirky Green Friends but the Stars quilt is amazaing, nice colours and great quilting. :)

SharonD 12-07-2010 12:24 AM

I love your frog quilt. It is lovely. Did you do each block separately or what it a panel?
Work well done

I am humbled by all your uplifting comments....thank you!

All the fabrics in the Green Friends quilt came from Wal-Mart. Found them at our store in June, so I'm guessing there's still some out there.

Adding a closeup of one of the plain squares in the Stars of Hope quilt where the word "hope" was incorporated into the FMQ.

Many thanks again....your comments make the challenging moments all worthwhile! Have a wonderful quilty day!
Karen

Stars of Hope is adapted from Bonnie Hunter's Random Ohio Stars and will be used as a raffle quilt for our Relay For Life 2011. Each star represents a color of cancer awareness. Also my first attempts at meandering and prairie points.

Thanks for looking! Karen
