Thank you for all of your kind comments. The pattern was from an old American Patchwork magazine. It will take me longer to find it and tell you exactly which issue. If anyone is really interested I'll dig through my piles of back issues. (laugh if you can relate)

It is 74X58. There are about 800 1 inch finished squares. As for the triangles in the border those are the leftover pieces from making the flying geese blocks. This really is a scrap quilt because there is very little waste.

It was a fun quilt to make.

I'd love to see the pattern but I don't have any of those old mags..so it wouldn't do me any good to know which issue. I saved it as a pic file and I could get the general idea when I get better at applique.

I'll look for the pattern. It isn't applique. It is all pieced. I did a little strip piecing but I wanted to keep it scrappy.
