Here is my latest project- don't look TOO closely, but I LOVE it. Unfortunately, it isn't for me, but for a baby who I hope loves it too.
The size is 36 x 38. I've been piecing it off and on for a few weeks, and did all the quilting today. Based on a pattern called "Twirling Triangles", but I didn't have it, so I just winged it. The baby's room is being done in a woodland theme. The baby's nickname right now is Acorn, so I added a few to the quilt, the purple triangles have either this, a flower, or a spiral triangle in them |
Very special.

Beautiful fabrics and pattern! It's great for a baby quilt!

What a sweet quilt! Those twirling triangles are just the thing to catch the little ones attention. It makes it really special that you quilted some acorns on it! So glad you didn't let the problems with the foot hold you back.

This is so cute and well done. I love the acorns (smile). Thank you for sharing.

What an adorable little quilt!! The baby will love it
|
Very nice! Isn't it fun when the parents-to-be nickname their little ones - my nephew and his wife called their first one 'Spike' and they're expecting 'Cricket' early next winter :)

I didn't realize how hard it is to match 60 degree triangles though. Half squares are so much easier! |
Love the colors and great job!!!

So nice. I like the colors and the design. The quilting is great, too. All in all, very classy.
