Love the QOV quilt. There are many in my family that serve. My youngest son is serving now. Thanks for the time, money and effort that goes into something like that. I've made 3 for wounded soldiers. One of my favorite sayings is "What if they gave a war, and nobody came". Wouldn't that be lovely!

The Q for V is so cute. I love the newsprint hats. That just makes its. Love the other quilt too. Did you overlap them or insert that center block?

I have a new computer. I hope I can load my latest quilts. OK. . I got two of them. . have to figure out how to resize the others. Anyway, little patriotic children is for Quilts of Valor. The embroidered writing at the top is hard to see (which is good, because it goes up hill!! :o( "It says, If it weren't for the brave, there'd be no land of the free." And right now I can't find the pattern. another :o( But I'll keep looking. I bought the newspaper fabric with the pattern. The other quilt is for Prayers and Squares.

Love them both. The first is so cute and thee second is unusal. Did you applique the block on the center of you 2nd quilt?
