I'm back! Just had to scrutinize your quilts again and have some questions. Is the orange one appliqued or did you fussy cut the fabric? I can't tell what you did but I love it. What is the name of the pattern or did you create it yourself? I LOVE your border design on the orange one. I will have to try that on the next scrappy quilt I do. Such a nice finish. Great job.

Feathers I fussy cut the middle of the blocks. The border was made to look like a braid. That's what drew me to make the quilt. You should see the backing I found for it. I do so love pretty quilts

I didn.' have a pattern. Just fussy cut blocks and put sashing and borders on it. I will show the backing when I get it back from the quilter. It went with it so good I couldn't believe it. Got it at a different place.

I love both of them..The black is so dramatic and the red looks like oriental....very nice quilts....congrat... :D
