Finally I have a few pictures. This is block 7 out of 9 blocks made of wool, velvet and cotton with embellishment threads and beads. I love this quilt and Sue's quilts are amazing.

i've had the opportunity to create a few of her projects for store displays at a lqs- and it is always a joy to get to work on one of her new designs! this one is WONDERFUL! great colors--- and you are doing a FABULOUS job! :) just BEAUTIFUL! |

Thanks again everybody - maybe I'll post another block. Her pattern is fabulous. And this is her BOM for this year so all the fabrics and threads are from her also. Wendy, her sister, dyes all the wools. Her color palette is so gorgeous and unique. I am totally hooked. I have met her and she is also such a great teacher.

I've just now discovered Sue. I guess I've been in a box in rural Tennesseee for too long! :) Anyhoooo, I went ga-ga nuts over her style and colors and just signed up for her 2011 BOM, which is the one in these pictures. I may be picking up cans on the side of the road but it'll be sooooo worth it! BTW, are the instructions for the stitches fairly clear? I'm a little concerned that most are ones I've never attempted before. And thanks again, for posting the pictures!
