The fabric looked the same, but did not feel the same. It seemed thinner. Anyways it matched well enough. But disappointed in quality.

I have found that with a lot of different fabric at JoAnns including this very fabric. They get a great fabric and a few months later there is a knock off of the exact pattern, only it is poorly reproduced. You really have to look carefully and use all your senses when buying fabric. I was lucky to get the good material.

I think this happens to just about all fabric these days. When a designer shows a new line it is immediately copied and sent "over seas" to be made for pennies. Just like the fashion industry.

Be careful!!!

Thank you to everyone who had such nice feedback on this quilt.
peace

I love quilts that get you to think outside the block! (No pun intended) Never would I put together these fabrics, and yet the result is stunning. Good job. Your friend is lucky to have you.

I love it. Funny... I bought the main purple w/flowers fabric quite some time ago & was trying to figure out what pattern to use. This I will try. Wish me luck.
