I tried the mug rug pattern and it was really fun!! This was only a prototype and I added the stem. I am one to alter everything so I stayed true to form;) I want to make a set of four different colors to scatter on the coffee table with my Fall Pumkin!

I printed out the pattern and have picked out my fabrics....too bad that today I spend my time cleaning up my clutter in a couple rooms. It takes Forever to go thru the junk mail and all the magazines I could never throw away before!

BTW, where did you turn it??

PatchGirl 09-17-2011 07:39 PM

At the very bottom left and right corners, and then inserted the stem. I just double folded a scrap and ironed it down and stitched the edge. They are pretty quick so I am going to make more in groups or 4 colors. I used warm and natural for the filler but I also had some of that teflon batting for potholders I may use next time.
