Finished block 1, blooming nine patch. The feathers and clam shells need a lot of improvement. This morning had a snickers bar and think that helped do the border lol. Next month is a Dresden flower. [ATTACH=CONFIG]565941[/ATTACH]

So fun to do blocks of the month. The quilting is very nice. Keep practicing and the next one will be even better.

Very cheerful. I always said a Snicker bar in the morning does wonders for a person. One in the afternoon is good too and one in the evening is great! LOL

I'm doing this to and I wish I had your basket fabric, it really sits it off. Your quilting looks very nice. I haven't gotten this far yet. Late getting started on the block.

Peg: Even with your trip you still beat me LOL I just cut my fabrics last night from my stash and will piece this on Friday when I go to retreat. I will probably wait to quilt it though until I get home and can use my Tiara. This will be great practice for feathers. Keep at it and you will notice the same improvement as you did in the last one. New skill.......new learning curve. I totally support your decision to supplement with a Snickers ! I see you changed your colors too.........me too.
