I just finished a table runner that has the same corners and ALSO had a devil of a time with them. I really wish I'd thought of just sewing and turning the darned thing. Oh well, it's quilted now and that's the way it will stay. Anyway, thanks for the idea of sewing and turning - I now know I'll make another one. |

I have made a few that size that I put on the back of the sofa. My little fur babies like to sit up there to watch the world go by. Larger than table length, but perfect to keep the hair under control

It's really pretty - I can see why you liked the pattern (and I love your colors, too!), but I hope your table is a very long one... unless, of course, you plan to be eating on that pretty wood floor!

I just finished one from a pattern - it turned out waaay too big for any table I have, so----I lay it across the bottom of my bed, it's perfect for a bed runner...:thumbup:

I've been wanting to make a bedrunner in purples for my daughter but haven't been able to decide on a pattern. I wonder if I could adapt this to a little longer and wider for a king bed? This pattern is great and I'd like to try. Your's is beautiful. Might be quite a challenge to make it bigger, especially width. Hmmmm?;)
