Learning to use my decorative stitches
1 Attachment(s)
Last week I was home from work two days running a fever, so I did what any self-respecting quilter would do that felt to bad to sew...I took an online course! This one was Karen Linduska's course on iquilt using the decorative stitches on your machine. By last Saturday I was feeling well enough to start a piece of my own, and finished it today. It was a lot of fun, and not too awfully bad for a first try, although there are a lot of things I will do differently and hopefully better next time. Thanks for looking!

For a first attempt, I would say that you did a really great job!! I love your fabric/embellishment choices. Your stitching definitely adds texture and interest.

Glad you are feeling better. What you have done is really neat. This sounds like something that would be fun to try. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK

How fun is that? Except--gotta ask--is it a pain to change thread so often?
