Lemoyne Star/Ruler

2 Attachment(s)
I took a class today at my LQS on using the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star ruler. I have no affiliation with Deb Tucker nor her products but I love her ruler. Attached are a couple pictures of a 12", 8" and 3" star. I'm not sure the colors are coming out right but one is black and brown and the other is two shades of brown (which is my favorite color). I wasn't sure about this class as I feel the rulers are pricey but after I got going I decided it was worth the money. Yes, I know I could have watched You Tube as she has her directions on there, but sometimes it's easier to take the class and just get things done. Enjoy the pictures.

I got the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star and Tucker Trimmer rulers. Her web address is www.studio180design.net.
If you do a You Tube search she has a demonstration for both Hunter's Star and Lemoyne Star. I think I will buy the Hunter Star next. Our quilt teacher is coming up with more patterns we can use these rulers for. The points come out perfect with this ruler and she also tells you how to press so that the seams stack perfectly. With the ruler is also a pattern for stars from 3" up to 12" making a quilt 37"x37". By the time you finish with the project you will probably never forget how to use the ruler.

I love her rulers as well. BTW Deb Tuckers site is Studio 180. If you have any questions I have found through experience, that her staff responds immediately.

I have watched her utube a couple of times. I would love to make a star quilt but, lots of others I want to start also.
Your Lemoyne stars are perfect.

That is great! I have the Rapid Hunter's Star template but haven't used it. I agree, rulers are pricey. Colors work nice together.

They really are! I've always loved "LeMoyne Stars" anyway but Y-seams aren't my friends so I've never made one. I can't believe you made one that's only 3"! How perfect for a mini or doll quilt! These are all beautiful! Thank you for sharing them with us!

I have the ruler but have not attempted to use, maybe I should get off my tuff and create something beautiful. Great job!
