1. Don't procrastinate, it may take longer than you think.
2. Don't sit at sewing machine for 4 hours straight.
3. Measure twice cut once.

I still love doing it just learned along the way.

I don't know what I would do without her. She's 10 years younger than me, so that was really hard when she got breast cancer.

Your sister looks very pleased with the quilt that you made her. Very nice job for your first quilt too! I just love the fabrics that you chose for this. Where did you find the one with the wording on it? I want to make one for my bff's sister that recently had surgery for a very aggressive form of breast cancer.
