Let's Take a Selfie !
 

This is one of my current projects. My best friend asked that I make quilts for her 3 friends who have all suffered some tragedy in the past few years. They are being made with love and will become very special keepsakes for the friends. The four ladies get together every month for a 'Girls Night Out' and regularly post a selfie pic of themselves. I thought that the other quilts couldn't be given to the ladies without my friend having one to admire too so I found this cute pic of 4 ladies taking a selfie and I am enlarging it to make a quilt which they will all love and get a laugh at. What do you think? I have just fused all the pieces onto the background and can't wait to get sewing them down and putting in the facial features and outlines. The fun part will be the quilting. I will post a pic of the completed quilt when it's done.
