All your Linus quilts are just great. Such a good charity and you are wonderful to give to them.

My clients receive quilts for their new babies. Many are from Project Linus. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

How nice of you to give to such a wonderful cause. The quilt with the snowmen is my favorite.

I used the rail fence block. 3 rails used in each small block. 2 blocks (light, dark, light with colors reversed in second) were put right sides together, diagonal line marked between 2 corners, sewn 1/4in on either side, then cut apart. Multiples of these were then put together to form the larger blocks.
I used mostly scrap pieces rather than cutting strips of the same width and just trimmed all to the same size block. Once reassembled, the strips didn't match at the seams giving the chopped (into the blender) look.
Since I make a lot of quilts for Project Linus, I prefer something that goes together without having to fuss with too many match points.
