I've been working on this slowly, between other projects, for a few months. Pretty much designed as I went. I hope to finish it in the next couple weeks.

What a sweet baby quilt--your embroidery is wonderful. A labor of love.

Lisa T 02-04-2009 10:06 AM

I LOVE this! It's perfect- the pinwheels and embroidery! Are you going to put a border on?

HisSunshine 02-04-2009 10:12 AM

Yes, I do plan to put a border on it, probably about 3" or so wide. I'll figure it out once the border and backing fabric come in the mail. :)

I love the way this quilt's come out so much that I'm going to keep this one! Oh and I love pinwheels too!

Here's the finished quilt. :) This is the first time I've mitered a border and binding. It wasn't as tough as I thought it would be and I love the way it looks! :)

The embroidery was pretty simple, so I could do about one block an evening. I wasn't in a rush, just worked on it when I felt like it, so it probably spanned a couple of months. It was great to watch the pile of blocks grow. :)

dreamer2009 02-17-2009 09:56 AM

Thanks everyone! :)

Well, here's what I worked on this weekend:
http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/16619.page

After that, I have about five more projects half started and about 20 more in mind....and I know you can all relate to that! :)

Jaynie 02-18-2009 06:37 AM

Great job, your work looks so neat, accurate & absolutely beautiful....and we won't talk about how many projects I have started or running around in my head.
